Since 2014, Isped has been part of the Health Sciences College of the University of Bordeaux.
Founded in 1997, Isped is France’s first School of Public Health, which is distinct from and very close to the other components of the Health Sciences College: medical sciences, odontology, pharmacy, rehabilitation sciences, spas and nursing sciences.
In December 2023, Isped was accredited as a school of public health by the APHEA (Agency for Public Health Education Accreditation), for the maximum duration of 6 years.
This international accreditation underlines the quality of the training and programmes offered in the field of public health, as well as the resources deployed by Isped and the University of Bordeaux to welcome students, structure governance and internal operations, and the diversity and solidity of partnerships, whether at local, national or international level.

Founded in 1948, Sciences Po Bordeaux is a selective, multidisciplinary and international public institution for education and research in the humanities and social sciences. It is one of France’s ten Instituts d’Études Politiques. It is associated with the University of Bordeaux by agreement, and is a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles and the Convention de Coopération Territoriale de Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
